Privacy Policy

This policy covers the native Camo Critters game published by Silvercode, an independent software studio in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Contact: the Silvercode contact form. The Android package and the iPhone/iPad bundle are both dev.silvercode.seek. The separately hosted web game may also be subject to its host platform's privacy policy.

Effective: October 16, 2026

1. Your game data

You can play without an account. The game does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location. Scene progress, stars, discovered critters, hint balances and sound settings are saved on your device. Silvercode does not operate a game server or receive these saves. Android's backup and restore service and iCloud device backups may include app data according to your device settings. Clear the app's storage (Android) or delete the app (iPhone/iPad) to reset the local save; manage system backups through your device, Google account or Apple ID settings.

2. Advertising

The Android and iPhone/iPad games use Google AdMob for occasional ads between scenes and optional video ads for extra hints. A hint guides you towards a creature; it does not find the creature automatically. On iPhone/iPad, buying Remove Ads stops the ads between scenes.

Google's advertising SDK may collect and share your IP address (including approximate location derived from it), device and account identifiers such as advertising ID and app set ID, app/ad interactions, and diagnostic information. Google uses this information for advertising, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. SDK transmissions are encrypted in transit. On iPhone/iPad the advertising identifier (IDFA) is read only if you allow tracking in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. We do not request precise GPS location or supply your game save to AdMob.

Google processes advertising data under its own policies: the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services. Retention depends on Google's policies and your settings; Silvercode does not set a separate retention period for Google's advertising records.

3. Your choices

Where consent is required, the game uses Google's User Messaging Platform before requesting ads. You can decline or manage the available purposes in that message. When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, Privacy choices appears below the critter album on the home screen so you can revisit the message. An unavailable ad never prevents you from continuing to play. Rewarded videos start only after you choose to watch one.

You can reset or delete the Android advertising ID through your device's privacy/ads settings. On iPhone/iPad you can change the tracking permission at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. These settings and your consent choices can affect the ads available to you; refusing personalised ads does not necessarily remove all ads.

4. Analytics, purchases and permissions

The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) to understand how it is played. It records events such as a scene being started, finished or left, a hint being used, an ad being shown and a purchase being finished or cancelled, with codes and numbers only: the scene's number and internal code, stars, critters found, hints used, mistaken taps, seconds played and which product a purchase was for. It also records general device and app information (model, operating system version, language, country derived from the IP address, app version) and an app-instance identifier that Firebase creates for this installation. These statistics contain no name, email, contacts, photos or free text, and Silvercode sees them only as totals. The advertising identifier is used by analytics only if you allowed tracking, and nothing is used for advertising purposes before you answer the consent message where one is required. Google's policy for this service: Google Privacy Policy.

The game does not use Firebase Crashlytics, player accounts or social features. The game uses network access for Google's advertising, consent and analytics services; it does not request camera, microphone, contacts or precise-location permissions. The game is free. On iPhone/iPad you can buy Remove Ads and packs of hints; Apple processes these payments, and Silvercode receives only a confirmation of what was bought, never your payment details. The Android game has no in-app purchases.

5. Children, rights and contact

We do not ask players to submit personal information through the game. If you are a parent or guardian with a privacy concern, use the protected contact form. Your available privacy rights, including access, correction, deletion or objection, depend on where you live. Contact us for data you send directly to Silvercode, such as a support email. Requests concerning Google's advertising data can also be made through Google's privacy controls. Support emails are used to answer the request and retained only as needed for that purpose and applicable obligations.

6. Changes

We will update this page if the game's data practices change. The effective date above identifies this version.
