Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Silvercode handles information when you use the Moj Dom mobile app. Moj Dom is a shared household organizer with cloud accounts, collaboration, reminders, weather, advertising, and optional in-app purchases.

Effective: July 23, 2026 Last updated: July 23, 2026

Moj Dom stores household content in the cloud so members can collaborate. Some features process sensitive information, including location, uploaded photos, household financial planning data, and Wi-Fi credentials that you choose to save. Please read the details below before using those features.

1. Who is responsible

Silvercode is the developer of Moj Dom and is responsible for the processing described in this policy. Silvercode is an independent software developer based in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

For privacy questions, access requests, or deletion requests, use the protected Silvercode contact form. You do not need to publish your request publicly.

2. Information Moj Dom processes

Account and profile information

  • Google sign-in supplies your name, email address, profile photo, and account identifier. The Google ID token is used transiently to authenticate with Firebase and is not stored by Silvercode as profile data.
  • Profile settings that you provide, such as display name, optional gender selection, household memberships, and the currently selected household. Language and theme are stored as local device preferences.
  • Email addresses used to invite people to a household, together with invite status and the inviter's name.

Household content

You and other household members can create and share household names, tasks, assignments, shopping items and history, lists, tags, routines, plans, notes, activity records, game results, and trip information such as destinations, dates, travelers, packing items, and notes.

Bill features can contain bill names, amounts or ranges, currency, due dates, assignments, and payment status. Moj Dom does not ask for or store bank account numbers or payment-card credentials for this feature.

Photos and files

If you choose a photo from your library or take a photo for a shopping item, the selected image is uploaded to Firebase Cloud Storage. Camera and photo-library access occur only after your action and the relevant operating-system permission.

Location, weather, and nearby Wi-Fi networks

  • When the weather feature is used, the app requests location access and sends latitude and longitude to a Silvercode Firebase Cloud Function. The function rounds the coordinates to two decimal places before requesting weather data from OpenWeather and before caching the rounded location with the weather response.
  • On Android, the nearby Wi-Fi scan uses location permission because Android requires it to list nearby network names. The scan results are processed on your device. A network name is stored in the cloud only if you select or enter it and save it.
  • Moj Dom cannot read saved Wi-Fi passwords from your device. If you manually save a network password, it is stored with the household note and can be displayed to members of that household as text or a QR code.

Notifications and reminders

If you allow notifications, Moj Dom stores a Firebase Cloud Messaging token, platform, and update time to deliver household activity notifications. The app also schedules task, routine, and bill reminders locally on your device.

Advertising, purchases, and technical data

  • Moj Dom includes Google Mobile Ads and requests non-personalized ads. Google may process IP address, advertising or app identifiers, device information, ad interactions, consent choices, and diagnostic data to deliver, secure, and measure ads.
  • Google Play Billing processes an optional one-time purchase to remove ads. Moj Dom receives purchase status and keeps a local entitlement flag. Payment credentials are handled by Google Play, not Silvercode.
  • The app reads its version and build number and stores limited local preferences and cache data, such as theme, language, recent activity state, weather cache, and the remove-ads entitlement.
  • Firebase and other network providers may automatically process IP address, user agent, installation identifiers, request metadata, and service logs for delivery, security, and abuse prevention.

Support and privacy inquiries

When you contact Silvercode, we process your email address, optional name, message, and limited anti-abuse information so we can verify, answer, and protect the contact service.

3. How we use information

  • Authenticate users and maintain Moj Dom accounts.
  • Sync household content and enable collaboration among members.
  • Send requested notifications and schedule local reminders.
  • Provide weather and nearby-network selection features.
  • Upload user-selected images and display them in shared content.
  • Deliver non-personalized ads and recognize remove-ads purchases.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
  • Respond to support, privacy, and account-deletion requests.
  • Comply with law and protect users, Silvercode, and the public.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing is based on providing the service you request, your consent for optional permissions and advertising choices, Silvercode's legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, or a legal obligation.

4. When information is shared

  • Household members: household content, member profile details, assignments, activities, and saved Wi-Fi information are shared through the household collaboration features.
  • Google: Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Mobile Ads, and Google Play Billing process data to provide their respective services. See Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information.
  • OpenWeather: rounded coordinates are sent to OpenWeather to obtain current weather. See OpenWeather's Privacy Policy.
  • Contact service providers: Amazon Web Services hosts the protected contact endpoint, processes submitted messages and limited network and anti-abuse data, and delivers messages to Silvercode. Silvercode's email provider receives and stores the delivered message for review and response. See the AWS Privacy Notice.
  • Legal and safety reasons: information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce rights, prevent fraud or abuse, or protect safety.
  • Business changes: information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale, subject to appropriate notice and safeguards.

Silvercode does not sell personal information. Household sharing that you initiate is part of the app's core functionality, not a sale.

5. Advertising and consent

Moj Dom requests non-personalized ads and uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request advertising and privacy choices where required. You can remove ads through the optional Google Play purchase. Google may still process limited information for ad delivery, fraud prevention, frequency limits, and measurement. Learn more at How Google uses information for advertising.

6. Retention

  • Account and profile information is kept while your account is active and until it is deleted or no longer needed for the service.
  • Household content is kept until a member deletes it, the household is deleted, or it is removed through a verified request. Content in a shared household can remain for its other members after you leave or delete your account.
  • Uploaded images can remain in cloud storage after the related list item is removed because the current app does not automatically delete every storage object. You can request removal through the contact mechanism in this policy.
  • Notification batching records older than 24 hours are removed by a daily cleanup, so they can remain for roughly 24 to 48 hours. Local reminders remain until they run, are cancelled, or the app is removed.
  • Rounded weather coordinates and weather responses are kept as an operational cache until overwritten or removed. They are not stored with a Moj Dom account identifier.
  • Invites, household activity, shopping history, game results, bills, and similar household records currently have no automatic expiry. They remain until deleted through an available app control, household deletion, a verified request, or operational cleanup.
  • Support, privacy, and deletion-request messages are kept only as long as needed to handle the request, document the response, secure the service, or meet a legal obligation. They are deleted when those purposes no longer apply.
  • Service-provider logs, fraud-prevention records, deleted data in backups, and records required by law may remain for the provider's documented retention period. Google states that deleted Firebase Authentication data may take up to 180 days to leave live and backup systems. Firebase Installation identifiers have a separate lifecycle, and the current account flow does not explicitly delete the installation identifier.

7. Your choices and deletion

  • You can deny or revoke camera, photo, location, and notification permissions in device settings. The related optional feature may then be unavailable.
  • You can edit or delete many household items directly in the app. Household owners can delete a household.
  • You can initiate account deletion in Moj Dom under Settings, Other, Delete account. This deletes the Moj Dom account, not your Google account.
  • If you own a household that still has other members, the app requires you to delete that household first or arrange for the other members to leave.
  • Shared content and technical residuals may not be removed by the automatic account flow. Use the external deletion request so Silvercode can verify and delete or irreversibly de-identify remaining account-linked data, except limited records that must be retained for a legal, security, or fraud-prevention reason.

8. Security

Silvercode uses measures designed to protect information, including Google authentication, Firebase access controls, encrypted HTTPS connections, platform permissions, and restricted service credentials. Household content, including saved Wi-Fi passwords, is not end-to-end encrypted. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Use care when saving sensitive household notes, financial planning details, or Wi-Fi credentials, and invite only people you trust.

9. International processing

Silvercode and its providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, providers use contractual and organizational safeguards for international transfers. Provider policies linked above describe their transfer arrangements.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Submit a request through the protected contact form. We may need to verify that the request relates to your account.

11. Children

Moj Dom is intended for adults who organize a household and is not directed to children. The app does not offer child accounts or include an age-verification or parental-consent flow. Adults can enter names of family members or travelers and should avoid adding a child's personal information unless it is necessary and they have legal authority to do so. If you believe a child's information was provided improperly, contact us so it can be reviewed and removed.

12. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Moj Dom's features, providers, or legal obligations change. The updated date will appear at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated in the app or through another appropriate channel when required.

13. Contact
